what is a good document

WHAT IS A GOOD DOCUMENT
According to Diana Reep (2006, p.135), a good document has to create a balance proportion to attract the attention of the readers. A good document has to use a good structure of writing. With a good structure of writing, the readers can easily understand the information. Good writing always starts with a clear goal, so that the readers can understand the goal as well. (Kiefer, 1997-2009)

Writers have to choose the proper language to express the information and write about the useful topics, the other important point of a good writing are writers have to write about the interesting and important topics, so that the readers can read straight to the point. There are some aspects that we need to know before writing (Steve Peha, 2002) which are the ideas, the organization of the information, word choice, and sentence.

As a communication students, learn to write is the most important aspect. Because, nowadays people are tend to have a skill to write, especially communication people. Without a good writing, communication students will not be able to apply their lesson when their work.

In this article, I would like to compare my group presentation with my individual presentation. The purpose is to provide the perceptive of a good document. My group presentation has a balance and proportion. In the other hands, my group are explaining with focusing on the text rather than giving images. Hence, in my individual presentation, I used an image to give the audience example of multimodal text (slide no 1). Selzer (1989, p.44-47) cite that writers can give the explanation and give the arguments after the explanation to give the evidence first. Therefore, in my individual presentation, I give my viewpoint to support my presentation (slide no 2)
